Beers with Bob Vol 4
The Fro, once again, had the AMAZING opportunity to sit down and chat Padres baseball with the legendary former Play by Play announcer Bob Chandler. We wrapped up the 2010 Padres season, look towards the future and even get to hear an awesome Sparky Anderson story from his coaching days in San Diego in 1969.
I would like to apologize for the lighting (Damn Daylight Savings!) and for the extremely loud elevator music. It was "Singles Night" at the 94th Aero Squadron and apparently smooth jazz draws in the cougars like a fly to horse manure....or something like that.
A HUGE thanks to Bob for taking the time to chat with us not once, not twice, not thrice but 4 times this season! Hours and hours (most of which wasn't even filmed) just sitting back and talking Padres baseball, with someone who has more knowledge about the Padres in his pinky than 99% of the other people, was something we'll never forget.
