Follow along for a bit.....in 2001 the Padres drafted 2B Josh Barfield. Barfield was then traded to the Indians for 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff & RP Andrew Brown in 2006. Brown was traded to the A's for OF Milton Bradley in 2007. The game after Bradley was injured OF Scott Hairston took over for him in LF. Hairston was traded in 2009 to the A's for RP Craig Italiano, RP Ryan Webb & SP Sean Gallagher. SP Sean Gallagher was previously traded by the Cubs for SP and former member of the A's Chad Gaudin while Hairston was reacquired this off-season with OF Aaron Cunningham for 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff & 2B Eric Sogard. Now Josh Barfield is once again a Padre. Where does this leave us? Josh Barfield is the only one to not have played for both the Padres and A's. What significance does this have? None. I'm just sitting at home on a Friday night watching ice skating and wanted to write something to get my mind off of it.
